If I could go back to when I first started this career, oh the things I’d tell myself!
We know that learning through trying new things (and often failing on the first try) is beneficial to growth and mindset, but there are times when we could have saved ourselves many a sleepless night or a stressful day if only we’d had the knowledge sooner.
We’re so grateful to have an amazingly fierce, empowered and inspiring She Lion family who is leading the way forward in business, life and beyond.
So, we turned to you and asked you two questions on our Social Media.

“You can't be all things to all people. Find your niche and become a master at it.” - Emily
A key piece of advice that many an Entrepreneur has heard is to own your own niche or piece of real estate in the world, along with getting out of your comfort zone and having important discussions to find out what those boundaries of your personal niche are.
“Sometimes you have to have incredibly hard discussions, make some huge life decisions that not everyone will be happy with and get well out of your comfort zone...but that's just what you have to do to evolve to become the person you are today” - Belinda
“Toot your own horn, no-one else will do it for you.”
Confidence is key. Akin to finding a way to break out of your comfort zone mould. Having the confidence to back yourself is paramount to your success. Notably, backing yourself with integrity will unlock future doors.
“Everything you do is seen. Everyone sees what you do and chooses whether or not you are worthy of working with again. So always do your best, try your hardest, it will always lead to something if you do.” - Sam
“Don’t put it off. Time WILL run out”
Don’t wait for someone else to do it if you see something that needs doing. Do it. Your fabulous idea isn’t just going to make itself happen, the longer you leave it, the more likely it is that someone else will swoop in and reap the rewards of acting first.
Don’t panic. Don’t rush, just get moving on the first priority and you’re already 100% further than you were yesterday.

“If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?” -Elisabeth
If worries were wishes, I’d have one million dollars. If something that seems like the end of the world now won’t matter in 5 years time, don’t spend more than five minutes worrying about it today.
We are our own best self-saboteurs. Just like backing yourself, don’t stand in your own way!
