In 2022 the theme of International Women's Day is 'Break The Bias'.
Whether deliberate or unconscious, the bias against women makes it difficult for us to move ahead in work, sport, and life. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the field.
International Women’s Day isn’t JUST a day to celebrate women (though it is certainly that too). It is a day to have important conversations about how to progress toward complete equality. To question how we as people in the world and in business can break down stereotypes and discrimination.
We are truly blessed to be attending some fantastic events next week and have curated a small list of in-person and online events you might like to attend also. Let’s have these conversations so we may move closer to a world that is truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive of all people.

Change Our Game
In December 2015, the Victorian Government released a report from the independent Inquiry into Women and Girls in Sport and Active Recreation. The report found that women are under-represented in leadership roles in a sports sector that is still predominantly male-centric and dominated.
The report also highlights a growing movement of women and girls keen to showcase their talent and desire to contribute to the sport and active recreation sector, but the opportunities to participate and lead are either elusive or not readily evident. Join this incredibly important discussion online and for free here.
